What we collect

Account data you provide (name, email, optional profile image from Google sign-in) and technical data needed to run the service (session details such as IP address and browser, security logs).

Uploaded statements

When you upload or email a processing statement for a rate report, we store the file and the fee data we extract from it. Statements are used only to produce your report and to build anonymized, aggregated rate benchmarks — never to market to you, and never shared with or sold to payment providers. You can delete your statements and reports at any time by deleting your account.

Why we collect it

To authenticate you, keep your account secure, produce the reports you request, and operate the product. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Cookies and sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

Where it lives

Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Vercel, Neon Postgres). Transactional email is delivered via Resend. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and compliance programs.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, sessions, statements, and reports are removed; security logs expire on a rolling basis. Anonymized benchmark aggregates contain no personal or merchant-identifying data and may be retained.

Your rights

You can export your data or permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. Deletion is confirmed by email and removes your profile, sessions, and login credentials. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, or object to processing of your data — contact us and we will honor them.
