The service

Parity publishes independent reviews and comparisons of payment providers and produces free rate reports from merchant processing statements. These terms govern your use of checkparity.com and every feature it offers, whether or not you create an account.

Your account

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter this agreement. Signing in with a magic link or Google account creates a Parity account under these terms.

Rate reports and uploaded statements

When you upload or email a processing statement, you confirm you are authorized to share it. We process it to produce your rate report: naming fees, computing your effective rate, and benchmarking it against merchants like you. Statements are handled as described in our Privacy Policy and are never sold or shared with payment providers.

Reviews are information, not advice

Parity Scores, reviews, comparisons, and rate reports are editorial and informational. They are not financial, legal, or professional advice, and pricing observed for other merchants does not guarantee the rates any provider will offer you. Verify terms directly with a provider before signing.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no unauthorized access attempts, scraping of other users' data, uploading statements you have no right to share, or use of the platform for unlawful purposes.

Intellectual property

Reviews, scores, and reports are Parity content. You may quote or link to them with attribution; you may not republish them wholesale or present them as your own. You keep all rights to the statements you upload.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is." We work to keep review data current and rate calculations accurate, but we do not warrant that any content is error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parity is not liable for decisions made in reliance on the service.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
